I've been an artist my entire life, I have had art work published in several publications and projects starting at a young age. I come from a long line of artists and have studied art in Rome, Hunter college and took advanced art classes through out my academic carrier. I enjoy painting with acrylics but my new found love is water colors. I enjoy the bright colors and challenge of it, the results resemble that of my tattoo work. before watercolors my love was Prisma Color pencils and markers, it may sound weird but anyone who has tried them can contest to how much fun you can have with them. I also sculpt and have a fascination with Elvis and Coney Island.

I have been interested in tattooing since an early age. My earliest "tattoo" memory is drawing on my little brother with a motorized squiggly pen at the age of 10. When I was 15 years old I received my first tattoo, while vacationing in Italy. That was when tattooing went from a fascination of mine to deciding that this was what I wanted to do. I went on to bust the chops of a friends brother who is a tattooist by the name of Phil Luck. Although I didn't apprentice under Phil he did teach me a lot and we became good friends. I feel I owe Phil a lot, as in he has been my greatest influence and a great source of knowledge and values of the business.

I picked up a machine for the first time when I was 18 and with no training did a Simpsons alien in my cousins living room. After a local artist saw the tattoo he offered me an apprenticeship. I served a thorough OLD SKOOL New York apprenticeship under John Gallo. I have had the pleasure of working with some great artists during my time at Painless Steel, but Csaba Kiss helped me out the most in learning to blend my colors and fine tune my technique.

I learned all I could and then decided it was time to move on. That's when I came to Fun City. I classify my style as New Skool/Neo-Traditional, a combination of the old skool influence of Phil and fine line influences of Csaba. Although I prefers the fat lines and bold colors, I can do any style thrown my way. After nearly 2 yrs I now find myself at Alternative Xpressions in College Point Queens.
